Pau D'Arco, is harvested via peeling the bark from the tree in vertical strips from the ground up to the height of an average adult man. The inner bark is used for medicinal purposes. The native people of Central and South America had used this herb historically for the treatment of skin diseases, such as eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, hemorrhoids and skin cancers.
