Each grit surface is a different color and has a different function as follows: Side 1 (Dark Blue): Use this coarse shaping grit for nail shaping. Side 2 (Light Blue): Use this medium shaping grit for final nail shaping. Side 3 (Light Pink): Use this fine shaping grit to neaten nail edges. Side 4 (Green): Use this coarse buffing grit to even out the nail surface. Side 5 (Royal Blue): Use this medium buffing grit for final smoothing of the nail surface. Side 6 (Purple): Use this fine buffing grit to buff the nail surface to a natural shine. Side 7 (Magenta): Use this ultra fine buffing grit for final polishing and shining.
