Our Premium Activated Carbon utilizes the highest quality granular carbon available. It is more economically priced than our Extreme Carbon while providing superior performance to our Economy Carbon. It effectively clears aquariums of toxic organic substances, discoloration and foul odors. The pH of your aquarium will not be affected. Its an excellent carbon for use in filter cartridge refills. Use in fresh and saltwater aquariums and ponds.

For your convenience, each jar of our Premium Carbon features a flip-up handle.

Ingredients or Materials: Carbon.

Instructions: Carbon has been pre-washed, however, a slight rinsing will remove any dust and particles caused by handling or shipping. Under normal conditions, Acurel Extreme Activated Carbon Pellets can perform efficiently for up to two months. Various aquarium conditions may dictate more frequent changes. Replacing 50% of the carbon on a monthly basis is recommended in order to maintain the aerobic bacterial culture in your filter.
